As part of a 2:1 challenge grant with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, SMHS and HMS Service Clubs and ASBs as well as Carver Pioneers and Valentine Vikings invite the community to participate in an All Community Walk on Friday, April 14 from 3:30-5:00 at the Huntington Middle School track. Then join us in the HMS Cafe as we package 10,152 meals as we Rise Against Hunger.

The Trump Economy predictions are on everybody’s mind, and the timing, with the inaugural of the President Elect.

Andrew E. Crowell was our Club’s 6th Ambassadorial Scholar, attending the the London School of Economics in 1987-88.. He eventually joined the family firm, Crowell Weedon, rose to Managing Partner, and most recently, artfully navigated its sale to D. A. Davidson Co. Andy is currently the Vice Chairman of D. A. Davidson & Company, head of the Individual Investor Group.

Visit to ProSalud Clinic in Tijuana, Mexico, December, 2016

San Marino Rotary is working with the Rotary Club of Tijuana Oeste to make available medical equipment and supplies to the ProSalud clinics to be used for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cervical-uterine and breast cancer for women without medical social security services. ProSalud operates five clinics in various Tijuana neighborhoods providing general health care, prenatal education and care, gynecological services, testing for sexually transmitted infections, serving over 8,000 clients each year. The mobile clinic provides medical and educational services with an emphasis on sexual and reproductive health in the marginalized sectors of the city that lack accessible medical services, as well as in Tecate, Ensenada and Rosarito.
